Color management example:
A print-for-pay shop had 6 solvent inkjet printers driven by 2 Onyx RIPs. The color
coming off of each printer was dramatically different. There were problems with
wetness, saturation, unpredictable results, bad fleshtones, bad gray balance, etc... DCC
was able to standardize the color on all 6 printers to match each other and attain near
perfect color balance (CMYK, RGB and PANTONE COLORS).
DCC was also able to do this by working after hours (not to interrupt production) and
seamlessly integrate this into their existing work flow (so there was no change noticed
by the operator).
This took 5 days to complete. DCC goes onsite 1 day quarterly to maintain the color
consistency.
